Ayesha Takima's Secret Marriage and Open Reception

Ayesha Takia and her restaurateur beau Farhan Azmi have finally decided to get married on March 1. They will have a private nikaah ceremony at a mosque in Mumbai, followed by a grand reception at the CCI on the next day. The who's who of the film industry will be present at the reception.

Confirming the wedding and reception dates, Ayesha's mother, Faridah said, "I cannot conceal my excitement. I am very happy." The Takias have already finalised the other wedding details including Ayesha's trousseau. The proud mother said, "We have shopped for everything from Mumbai."

After the nikaah, the couple plan to go for their honeymoon to a foreign locale. A friend of Ayesha said, "Ayesha and Farhan are still discussing options. They have yet not zeroed in on any place yet." "Ayesha and Farhan are building a hotel in Goa. They had gone there to supervise a few things," said Faridah. Priyanka Chopra Willing to do 'Lesbian Role'

Priyanka Chopra seems to be getting bolder by the day. Whether it be her look in her last films, or the characters and the kind of films she is opting for, she seems to be eyeing the numero uno crown. And no, no dumb glam-doll kind of roles for her, she has made that pretty clear through her no-nonsense interviews in the recent past. She made a point on gay rights too when she told us in a recent chat that they have equal rights to live a dignified life. And now, the actress gives out yet another statement - that she has no qualms playing a lesbian character if offered. After all, according to Piggy Chops sexual preference is a matter of personal choice. "Why not, I would definitely play a lesbian role, provided the film has a good script and the role demands so," says Chopra when asked if she´d accept such a role now that both her last films – ´Fashion´ and ´Dostana´ - have a gay factor in them.

We have seen men playing gay characters many a time in Bollywood films but women doing the role of a lesbian have been rare. Perhaps the only film that most of us would recollect (or not) is the Eesha Koppikhar- Amrita Arora starrer ´Girlfriend´ that ended up in controversies for some bold scenes and also bombed badly at the box-office.

But with Priyanka Chopra willing to play a lesbian character, the million dollar question is, who among the top actresses will play a lesbian partner to her? Certainly not Kareena Kapoor, given their not-so-great rapport and Priyanka may not want to pair up with Katrina Kaif for her non-existing acting skills! That leaves us with Kangana Ranaut, but rumours have it that the two did not get along so well on the sets of ´Fashion´. Esha Deol and John Abraham to go for 'Bare Act'

Actress Esha Deol and John Abraham would be doing a ´Bare´ act to encourage vegetarianism and discourage the use of animal products. Hope their gesture turns out for the right destination.

John has been doing whatever he can to promote the activities of PETA (People for Ethical Treatment on Animals) and now Esha joins hands with John and both of them are to do a bare act to promote vegetarianism.

Sherlyn Chopra banned from the Gyms

It looks as if it is becoming more and more difficult for actresses to wear clothes these days, especially when they're out in public. Shreya issued her apologies for dressing in over-exposing clothes. Trisha is more careful now about her dresses too.

But a Bollywood glamorous actress found herself in big trouble when two of the most famous gyms in Mumbai banned her and canceled her membership.

The actress in question is Sherlin Chopra. You might remember her as the one who isn't unable to make her mind up about her onscreen name. She keeps constantly shifting between Mona and Sherlin.

She used to be a regular member of one of Mumbai's best gyms. But the costumes that she wore used to be so tight that men used to fight with each other to ogle at her. Things went so out of control once that two men ended up getting into a fist-fight with each other and had to be rushed to the hospital. The gym authorities canceled her membership.

Sherlin soon joined another gym. The same story took place in the new gym too. Sherlin complains that there is nothing indecent about the clothes that she wears. "So many women go about walking in public places with bikini suits, why is everybody making a huge issue about my dresses?" she asks.

She has now decided to stay away from gyms for a while.
